Julian Meagher is a 39 year old Sydney-based artist. He is represented by Olsen Gallery. He has been finalist in the Doug Moran Portrait Prize, Salon des Refuses, Metro Art Prize, Blake Prize for Religious Art, the RBS Emerging Artist Prize and the Wynne Prize. He was a finalist in the Archibald in 2014 with a portrait of actor John Waters and in 2015 with a portrait of musician Daniel Johns.
