TASHA LEE MARSHALL AND MEDS SUPPORT GRIMES

December 13, 2012

The incredibly talented Tasha Lee Marshall took to the stage earlier this week, opening for both of Grimes’ SOLD OUT Sydney shows. In by far her biggest show yet, Tasha stood up to the challenge to deliver an incredibly inspiring performance. Tasha was joined on stage by the one and only Meds, who delivered an amazing injection of energy, throwing down some flawless verses on a couple of tracks. As the only support they were on right before Grimes, who was there to watch their set, and they were met with enthusiastic support from a jam packed Oxford Art Factory. Congratulations are definitely in order!

We first met Tasha and Meds at a workshop in Hurstville, and since then they’ve both become part of the furniture at our weekly Home Base workshops in Redfern where they’ve been instrumental in creating an amazing collaborative workshop dynamic.

Watching the show earlier this reminded us just how incredible the music that Tash and Meds are creating really is. We’re looking forward to getting these tracks all wrapped up and released in the not too distant future, so sit tight!
