Rhanni From Key College

Rowan and I are heading towards the middle of Term 2 at Key College and already we have some great tracks being produced. One stand out has been with Rhanni who came in with all her lyrcis written out and within 2 weeks, she had a finished song with her rapping and also singing (for the first time!). Rhanni – 16 years old – Key College

What’s the best thing about coming to Key College? This is my second year here, and when I finish I’ll have my year 10 certificate.  It’s more fun and laid back than a mainstream school and they’re heaps supportive.

When did you first start making music with Heaps Decent? Last year with Rowan and Nina I worked on 2 songs. It was the first time I had rapped – besides at home in the shower!!

What have you been doing with Heaps Decent so far in 2012? I’ve already finished 1 song off which I rapped on and also sang on, which was a first for me. It was a good song to work on so I could get everything off my mind and out of my head.

What are you going to work on next? I want to do a song dedicated to my brother because he’s currently in jail and I would love to have something to send to him.

What music have you been listening to recently?  Flo Rida “Whistle” and loads of Hip Hop and Rnb!

If you could do a show with any rapper – who would you choose? Flo Rida – because he’s hot!

Tell us one interesting fact about yourself? I can cook really good cakes (the ones in the packet) but they’re tasty anyway!
