Staff

The staff of Heaps Decent.

Nerida Woods
[General Manager/CEO]

Nerida joined the team at Heaps Decent in 2012 with a rich history in the arts management sector. Prior to her most recent role as General Manager for Shopfront Contemporary Arts and Performance, she spent several years in the UK as a Company and Tour Manager for theatre companies, and in Australia as a stage manager at the Opera House, freelance production manager, event coordinator and consultant. Nerida has an ear for rhythm, when she’s not in the office she’s bashing on her drum kit.

Charlie O’Brien
[ASSISTANT MANAGER]

Having started at Heaps Decent in 2009, Charlie somehow maintains the life of a touring DJ/music producer coupled with that of the man behind the scenes of the Heaps Decent operation. You can often find him facilitating workshops as a key member of the facilitator staff, as well as in the office turning the cogs of the Heaps Decent machine.

Grace Cooper
[ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT]

Grace has been with the Heaps Decent team since 2012 and helps out with all things admin-related. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Entertainment Business Management at JMC Academy and has been thrilled to watch so many talented young artists progress with their musical skills over the past two years!
