Rassel Cool – Running (FREE download)

February 2, 2016

At the ripe old age of 21, the charismatic Australian-born father of 1, Rassel Cool, is a founding member of south-west Sydney’s unstoppable rap crew T.Era. Having commenced his music career at the age of 15, Rassel Cool went on to promote his music amongst classmates and teachers. After moving back and forth between Auckland and Sydney, he decided to settle in Sydney and began attending our weekly Heaps Decent workshops in Redfern. With the assistance of our music tutors he has undoubtedly forged his own sound and was inspired to produce a strong body of work for his debut EP.

Featuring the magnificent production of Heaps Decent’s Adam Bozzetto and Hugh O’Brien, his “2:35am” EP is a reflective piece; filled with atmosphere and substance, these infectious three tracks will have you reaching for the repeat button. It’s a FREE download so make sure you get your copy.

Signalling the second release for Heaps Decent, we’re really stoked to bring you HD002! Make sure you check out the incredible music video for “Running”, shot and edited by Hugh O’Brien.
