LISTEN OUT WORKSHOP: TKAY & KILTER

October 8, 2014

TKay & Kilter

During the Listen Out tour, we poached a couple of our benefactor Fuzzy‘s touring artists to come along to work with us for the day. The first pair we were lucky enough to work with were the talents Tkay and Kilter. Fresh off the back of their recent collaboration, the guys arrived at Juniperina Juvenile Justice Centre eager and not sure what to expect.

Their collaborative powers were put to the test and they exceeded expectations with the amazing track that resulted. Both Kilter and Tkay remained composed when put on the spot by the workshop participants who demanded that Tkay freestyle without warning and they were quick to give their unfiltered opinions on Kilter’s productions!

All in all it was a great session and we can’t express our gratitude for all the effort that went into making the session happen. A huge THANKS to Tkay, who flew all the way from Adelaide for the workshop (we literally picked her up from the airport and dropped her back to the airport!!), to Kilter for his exceptional workshop facilitation, and to Dan at Fuzzy and Aden at Soapbox, who were both incredible in helping it all come together!
