VIDEO: ‘My World’ by Tasha Lee Marshall + 2 new tracks!

August 30, 2012

We first met Tasha in the South Western suburbs of Sydney at a one-off workshop in Hurstville, and ever since then she has been coming to our weekly sessions at Redfern Community Centre and making some really amazing music with us. Writing songs since she was 7, Tasha recently performed on FBi radio in Sydney and performed live at our Home Base showcases at Good God Small Club and Queen Street Studio. Although she now lives on the Central Coast, Tasha still makes the long commute down to Sydney to attend our sessions every week.

Here are two of our favourite songs of hers and a video clip, set in the block in Redfern, made by our friend Lucas Habte. Both songs also feature two other familiar faces at our Home Base sessions, The Terrible Twins, who you’ll be hearing more from very soon! Big thanks to our facilitators Joyride and Pablo Calamari for the production and recording on these tracks!
